Summary

  • widen lint:md so markdownlint also checks nested repo Markdown under .github/ and assets/
  • fix the existing assets/README.md trailing-newline violation surfaced by the broader lint scope
  • keep the rest of the CI pipeline unchanged

Testing

  • npm run lint:md
  • npm run ci
  • temporary repro: append an extra H1 to assets/README.md and confirm npm run lint:md now fails
