Summary

  • add a small repo-local relative link validator for root Markdown docs plus docs/**/*.{md,mdx}
  • run that validator before Linkinator so broken local references actually fail CI
  • document the expanded link-check scope in the contributor docs

Testing

  • npm run ci
  • temporary repro: add a broken ./missing.md link to README.md and confirm npm run lint:links now fails before external crawling

Closes #138.
