Summary

A confirmed Discord report says Discord role/linking state sometimes does not sync into the game. Multiple users reported being linked in the hub/Discord but not reflected on the main servers, or being unable to link their account.

Acceptance criteria

Identify why Discord account/role state can be linked in one place but not synced to the main server state.
Ensure linking and role sync failures surface actionable feedback instead of silently staying stale.
Validate with at least one account whose Discord roles previously failed to sync in game.
